IL CONIGLIO SPAVENTATO
C'era una volta, un coniglio addormentato sotto una palma. Una noce di cocco gli cadde in testa. Si svegliò ed ebbe una paura terribile. Senza pensare, il coniglio corse nella foresta e gridò: il cielo crolla! Correte, correte! Mettetevi in salvo, il cielo crolla! Tutti gli animali della foresta scapparono insieme a lui. I grandi animali come gli elefanti, ferirono quelli più piccoli. tanti ne morirono e non c'era nessuno che sapeva dove andare. Il leone, re della foresta, vide il branco di animali impazziti dal terrore che correvano sia a destra che a sinistra, così lanciò un ruggito e disse; fermi tutti! Cosa state facendo, perchè correte? Guardate quanti animali sono morti o feriti, fermatevi subito! Al comando del re della foresta tutti si fermarono spiegando il perchè al leone, ma lui non convinto disse: portatemi dove crolla il cielo. Il coniglio portò il leone seguito dagli altri animali alla palma, ma c'era a terra solo la noce di cocco. Il leone disse: guardate tutti, il coniglio ha avuto paura perchè è caduta una noce di cocco e ha pensato che il cielo stesse crollando. Il coniglio si intristì e chiese scusa a tutti.

THE FRIGHTENED RABBIT
There was once, a dormant rabbit under a palm. A walnut of coconut fell him in head. You woke up and it was afraid. Without thinking, the rabbit raced in the forest and shouted: the sky collapses! Race, race! Save you, the sky collapses! All the animals of the forest escaped together with him. The great animals as the elephants, hurt those smaller. so many died of it and there were no anybody that he/she knew whether to go. The lion, king of the forest, saw the flock of animals gone crazy by the terror that they raced both to the right and to the left, so you/he/she launched a roar and you/he/she said; firm everybody! What is doing, because you race? Look how many animals are dead or wounded, immediately stop you! To the command of the king of the forest all stopped him explaining the why to the lion but him not convinced it said: bring me where the sky collapses. The rabbit brought the lion followed by the other animals to the palm, but there was only to earth the walnut of coconut. The lion said: you look at all, the rabbit has been afraid because a walnut of coconut is fallen and you/he/she has thought that the sky was collapsing. The rabbit withered him and asked excuse everybody.
