Daniele Giordano

Born in Turin he starts his artistic path in the panorama of the show as a young assistant during events promoted in disco. From this point on he is captivated by this type of work that seemed to him a kind of a game.
Afterwards his path continues: appearing as an extra in films and television and then he proceeds as screen writer, choreographer, costume designer, artistic manager till he becomes a TV host and a presenter in different shows in plaza and theatre performances.
Meanwhile he acquires greater experience, and he is offered the responsibility of presenting some of the most prestigious national musical contests, fashion parades and miss pageants in the Italian regions: Piedmont, Valley of Aosta, Liguria and Tuscany.
His versatile nature continues to grow and thus he becomes personal manager of singers and musical groups some of them already famous in Italy. He collaborates with the most important radio networks taking interviews to famous actors and singers and afterwards he passes to television shows where he remains longer and he continues writing texts, hosting famous characters and presenting the same shows with widespread success. We can remember some of them as follows:

Magika (52 weeks with no interruptions plus re-runs)
The castle of Ali-Baba (monthly transmission all throughout 15 years)
Cinema show(weekly talk show held in the hall of the Piedmont Meeting Centre for 4 months)

With his well-established personality he continues within some of the Cultural associations receiving tasks as general coordinator for their artistic events. His eclectic formation in the show business makes him take a new path in the world of cinema being very captivated by it.
So in 1992 he decides to follow this new path writing scripts as independent screen writer but he never interrupts his bond with the world of the shows.
He is inspired in writing his scripts by the day to day life, a subject that many producers consider difficult and therefore not commercially profitable, nevertheless he brings to us on the screens pieces of nowadays life with ironical endings going against the usual schemes and showing in his films normal events recited by normal people (not professional actors) that subsequently will be employed by well known directors. From some of his screen-plays, theatre plays and films were
inspired and presented in the most important national and international cinema contests.
Among his screen-plays we can mention these:

At five o’clock in the evening (dramatic 90’minutes)
Old...useless (dramatic 9’30 minutes)
Joke of the destiny (dramatic, 20’ minutes in phase of assemblage)

Surely his path hasn’t always been so easy but he never gave in, not even when he had so little budget for his work. Yet these obstacles have never prevented him from continuing, they spurred him to reach his objectives. On this point although he was so smart he also had a lot of help all along his path and he has to thank all the people that trusted him. As his spirit is in continuous movement, searching for new experiences he goes on following this path.
About him there can be written rivers of words in favour and against, but we can also agree that he is a prudent person and he does whatever show, TV, and film he is asked to do with professionalism and trying to spend less possible reaching satisfactory results not only for himself but especially for the people that work with him and believe in him.
